Cylinder

This cylinder was made on the wheel and is 6 inches tall. I chose this dark green because it changed from green to black making it contrasting in color.

Head sculpture

This head sculpture was made by hand by first making a shoulder and head shape out of newspaper. After that I put clay over it and took the newspaper out. I made it my little brother and painted it those colors to make the eyes stand out.

Rattle

This rattle was made by hand with two pinch pots put together. I put little clay balls inside so it would rattle. I put a Christmas tree on it because i made it during Christmas and I only put color on the top for texture from smooth to rough.

Cup

This is my cup. I made the designs on the cup suns and the handle is a moon so it is night and day. The inside is black for the night sky and the outside is bright for the day. The suns are carved but there is not a lot of texture. This was made with a slab by hand and not on the wheel.

Box

This is my box made with slabs and indented designs to have texture. The different colors are bright to stand out and darker on the other side. I chose to only have geometric shapes and patterns and a lid that goes with it. It is 6 inches tall and made all by hand

Coil pot

This was made with repeating coils and a few shapes to make it more interesting. I chose the colors to contrast each other and complement the simplicity of it. The end colors are darker to show where it starts and ends. It is 10 inches tall and made all by hand.
